RF Electronics started with a simple premise – to offer a strong line of high quality car audio products with a strong in-house technical support. While acknowledging the fact that many car audio distributors rely on outsourced technical support, the technological advances in car manufacture as well as the growing complexity of after-market fitments means a high level of sound technical expertise is needed right from the beginning – at the installation stage. Hence RF Electronics is poised to take the next big leap into the new technological frontiers of high-end car audio. RF Electronics was incorporated in January 2006, it is also one of the youngest car audio distribution company. Partners Daryl Ong and Vincent See are not exactly newcomers in the car audio scene. Vincent is the technical brains behind RF Electronics and was formerly from Sony before venturing into car audio. Daryl, the marketing brain behind RF Electronics has been in the car audio industry since 1993. Together – the duo form an enviable team – one with strong industry affiliations and superb technical expertise. The first product line that landed on their laps is Rockford Fosgate, one of the industry leaders in car audio. Rockford Fosgate is one of the few car audio companies that recognises the importance of training in car audio installation that they established their RTTI – Rockford Technical Training Institute. Every year, scores of Rockford Fosgate installers were sent to RTTI at Tempe, Arizona to train on advanced installation techniques. The objective is simple – every Rockford Fosgate installer must be among the best in the industry. |
